Selection Process

Our selection process is as follows:

① Register on ‘My Page’

② Submit Your Entry Sheet
(For the Actuarial Course, your application will be considered complete once you have submitted your entry sheet and booked the written test.)

③ Interviews
(For the Actuarial Department, a written test will also be administered during this stage.)

④ Offer
 [1]  Actuarial Course: Expected late February to early March 2026
 [2]  Distribution Business Management (DBM): Expected late May to early June 2026


Information Sessions for 2027 Graduates

We will be hosting company information sessions primarily for students graduating from university or graduate school in March 2027.

[1] Actuarial Course:

Session 1: Friday, January 30, 2026, 18:00–19:30 (Online via MS Teams)
Session 2: Tuesday, February 3, 2026, 16:30–18:00 (Online via MS Teams)

[2] Distribution Business Management:

Multiple sessions will be held (both in-person and online) starting in late February 2026.
※ Details regarding dates, content, and registration process for these sessions will be updated in due course.


Role Information

[1] Actuarial Department

Actuaries, as experts in insurance mathematics, are responsible for a wide range of tasks including product development, profitability analysis, policyholder behavior analysis, reinsurance strategy evaluation, financial reporting, income and expense analysis/forecasting, and risk management. You will gain practical experience not only with Japanese accounting standards but also with international accounting standards.

[2] Distribution Business 
Management(DBM)

The Distribution Business Management (DBM) division oversees our sales channels. It consists of three main sales channels—Direct Sales, Independent Agency, and Financial Institution Agency, along with a dedicated sales support team that helps all channels. After joining, you will initially work as an Agency sales representative in either the Independent Agency channel or the Financial Institution Agency channel. Following a two-month initial training program, you will experience job rotations across both channels. Based on your preferences and aptitude, your final placement will be determined. Entry Requirements

Students who will, or have graduated with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in  March 2027 


Salary

Annual salary system
University graduates: ¥4,300,000~ per annum
Graduate school graduates: ¥4,500,000~ per annum
※ Variable bonus once per year

Hatsudai Head Office
30-20-2 Nishi-Shinjuku, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, Japan 
Tokyo Opera City Tower

※ For DBM positions only, there may be a possibility of relocation to one of our major offices across Japan in subsequent years. 
Locations include: Sapporo, Sendai, Omiya, Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, Kanazawa, Hiroshima, and Fukuoka.


Work Hours

9:00~17:00
Standard work hours 7 hours (full flex time applicable)


Holidays/Vacations

Saturdays and Sundays, National Holidays, Year-end and New Year holidays (December 30, December 31, January 2 and January 3), 20 days Annual Paid Leaves (first year 15 days), 5-day consecutive leave, Anniversary leave, Life Support leave, Volunteer leave, etc.


Other

Social Insurance (Health Insurance, Employees' Pension, Unemployment Insurance, Worker's Accident Insurance), Benefit One, Training system (include Japanese lesson / English lesson), Childcare Leave/Family care Leave, Baby-sitter support program, wiwiw System (Support program for those who take Childcare Leave), Retirement Pension (only for Regular employee).


Internship
